Nathan Hanning Biography
Nathan Hanning grew up outside Athens on his great-grandfather’s farm. He officially joined the firm following his admission to the bar in July of 2024. Nathan primarily practices in the areas of civil litigation and has additional interests in education and real property law. Nathan attended Alexander Local Schools, eventually graduating and attending Marietta College where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance with a certificate in leadership from the McDonough Center for Leadership & Business. Throughout his education, Nathan worked various jobs including as a lifeguard at the Athens City Pool, Kroger, and as a substitute custodian Trimble Local Schools. Following his bachelor's degree, Nathan moved to Columbus to attend Capital University Law School. While at Capital, Nathan worked as a litigation clerk at a small firm in Columbus. In addition to working through school, he was a legal intern with Capital’s litigation clinic, which focused on helping low-income individuals and families. Nathan graduated in May of 2024 from Capital and moved back to his hometown as soon as he could. He is currently a member of the Ohio Bar Association and Athens County Bar Association. |
